Exceedingly confused about how I managed to 'follow' myself?! I was trying to set it up to follow someone else's , and I ended up following MY OWN blog! Blargh!!

Disorganised. AS USUAL!
Last day of class before the Easter hols! Lecturer for the afternoon classes hurt his back over the weekend apparently, so we got out really early!
I should REALLY be doing my coursework which was due today! Haha!
Bleh. So much to do over Easter-ness!
Of course, I've set myself a hugely ambitious revision timetable for the two free [YAY!] weeks... If I get HALF the work done that I've set myself, I'll be getting along quite nicely!
Slightly worried about how I'm going to get all my coursework in, but sure I've got a couple of weeks to sort it out!
Argh!
Plenty of gossip to spread in Gil's general direction, but not on this blog! Haha! I should really remove the link to my blogspot from my bebo... It's making me paranoid a little.
And I've only just realised how long it is since I blogged.... A full month and a half [kinda]!!
So much for promising to update it all the time!
Just shows how unexciting my life is... =]
Got offer from Coleraine! Not sure if I told everyone or not [I probably have, many times =P]
Still not heard from Queens, the nasty people there don't like me =[
Still. Coleraine would be great... A wee house in P'stewart would be lovely!
I promise I'll update soon with photies of Molly! She's crazayy =D
Til then... Cheerio m'darlins!

A bad decision.
Last night, I decided to go running. This decision may or may not [!] be due to a conversation had with certain person last night, but that's beside the point entirely...
I managed to find my tracksuit bottoms languishing at the back of my wardrobe, looking somewhat crumpled, and eventually dug out a decent pair of trainers.
Excitedly [sad, I KNOW] planned my route, which incidentally was quite an unwise choice, but that will come later!
Set my alarm for 7 am, and went to bed quite cheerily.
Still awake.
Not even a sign of Wee Willie Winkie et al.
7am. Alarm rings. I turn around, turn it off, glare at it, and... go back to sleep, having forgotten entirely the whole purposeful "Ohhh, I'm gonna GO RUNNING =D" thing.
Later, was quite disappointed with my lack of determination [what's that about the spirit being willing, but the felsh being weak...?], so I made it all better.
By dressing up in my trackies etc, just to make me feel like I'd been out a run [did not work].
And for looking for running shoes on the internet [cannot afford].
Then about half 11, after having had a nice cup of lemon tea and vast quantities of toast, I decided that I wasn't going to be a pussy. I would, in fact, GO RUNNING.
Had a little gander at a running website [did not know such things existed?], which informed me that I should, being a novice runner, not run very far the first time. And that I should run on a flat surface.
But, being... y'know... ME, I disregarded this patronising advice and set out up a 2 mile hill. Rather unwisely, as I later discovered. While making my way up this Kilimanjaro-esque slope, I calculated that the incline was approximately 1 in 10. Ouch.
At the top of the hill, I flopped onto a park bench beside a little old lady in one of those motorised wheelchairs. I have the feeling that my grunting and gasping loudly like those women who play tennis may have freaked her out a bit. She vacated the scene fairly quickly, probably have concluded that a large pack of wolves with slavering jaws was pursuing me, and would soon gallop around the corner.
Having sat there for a few minutes and caught my breath, I proceeded to run down the hill again. All the way home. Which was considerably easier than uphill, I must admit.
All in all, a very rewarding pastime, but one probably best kept under cover of darkness...

Thee List of Music.
I decided to write a more interesting post for once! And hopefully I'll get in the habit. I love lists, so I'm going to indulge in writing one about my favourite music, ever! Not just any old stuff, but specifically the music which has had a big impact on me. Some of it has been there with me for years, others are very recent additions. It's not any particular type of music, and it spans composers, artists, and even a wee choir which is very close to my heart... =]
1. Biffy Clyro
Recent addition. They've been around for years, but Andrew copied me all their albums this summer, and I've hardly taken them out of my CD player [how quaint! I still have a CD player! lol] since. I love their lyrics and the style of their songs. One of the most original bands in the mainstream at the moment. I heart Biffy Clyro! Haha! [And the lead singer is quite hot too!]
2. Ella Fitzgerald.
First heard her songs for GCSE music, over 5 years ago. She was one of the most influential and famous jazz singers. She had this amazing ability for scat singing for almost whole songs - most jazz singers can do it for a maxmimum of 16 bars maybe. And a huge vocal range, nearly three octaves, which is phenomenally big. Her voice stuns me every time i hear it.
3. Nobuo Uematsu.
Different kettle of fish altogether! I owe this to Matt and Scott who, separately, recommended that I play his music for piano, especially the music from Final Fantasy. I've learned some of his stuff just over the last month or so. A lot of it is so hauntingly beautiful, and insanely enjoyable to play.
4. Roddensvale School Choir.
This is a choir from our local school for children with special needs. Mum got me their CD for Christmas this [last] year. I cried - actually wept - the first time I listened to it. The singing is so beautiful, so pure, and with so much meaning. The solos are particularly spine-tingling. I would highly recommend this to anyone. =]
5. Yellowcard.
Loved 'em for years. Despite being very generic pop punk, I love their sound! Mainly because they have an electric violin, which i am very jealous of. Compelling listening at times, although some songs are quite bland. Their earlier stuff tends to be better, although I love their 'Lights and Sounds' album. I heart electric violins! 'Nuff said. =]
5. Rise Against.
A fairly new addition, thanks to Matt [again!]. Still haven't got much of their music yet, I'll have to bulk my library up a bit. But I'm loving what I've heard so far. Similar to Yellowcard in some ways, but a little more musically interesting. No electric violins, sadly :P. Their lyrics are incredibly 'grabby' and they are the focus of the song, which is almost a foreign concept these days. The songs themselves are great, on a purely musical level.
That's enough for the moment! I may add to this list at some point!
Toodleloo!

We did the USA.... well, a small part of it =]
I got bored, so here are a few select pictures! They didn't actually upload to bebo, so although it wasted a good hour, I'm quite relieved!
This is the most of the clan!
Crazy as.
This is my wee cousin Ian, who is an absolute legend!
Like a younger, ginger American twin =]
Almost.
We went to this random garden place, where there were loads of ornamental gates which didn't lead anywhere! I LOVED this place...
Guess who those manic looking pair are... =]
This random dude starting rapping at us, so I got a picture... =] Awesome!
And, of course, the obligatory trip up the Empire State Building...
There's loads more where these came from, but they're either very repetitive or highly embarrassing!
Yay!!!!
Have found all the gazillions of holiday pictures from America last year!! Not on the CD, which is irritatingly missing, but a backup on an alarmingly flimsy flashdrive [which has refused to open, on occasions before]. So, I'm currently uploading all 200/300 odd onto bebo as a kind of backup, which was a terrible idea on hindsight... Not just because it will literally take my old and tired laptop ALL night to do so, but because in every single picture, WITHOUT FAIL, I look absolutely manic/sweaty/both. Which is quite a reasonable thing to assume, since it was about 40 degrees centigrade, and the summers here average about 20 degrees! So, now everyoneeee on my bebo will be able to see multiple pictures of me [and other assorted family/randoms/various buildings] at odd angles, looking pastily white, sweaty and generally unnattractive. I will post the best/funniest ones on here, but I dread getting the bebo comments "you're lookin a bit rough there love"...
Anyway!
I must away to write letter to Gil, who very kindly hand delivered one to me last night! Hehe!

Old photo.
Haha!! Couldn't resist! =]
Pictures taken on Gil's webcam from one of our marathon gossip/catch-up nights! This was late December, I think. Somehow, I don't think any of the pictures will make it to the front page of Vogue...
Honestly, I don't think there's anyone else who I can talk to for HOURS without either of stopping, and still not have time to cover everything! Haha!
Going to miss you SO much when you're swanning away off Deutschland, missus!!

Finally, some pictures!
Picture taken from the train station at Larne on Monday! You really wouldn't think it was a slightly polluted 'fake' lake...lagoon... whatever =]
My photographic capabilities are severely limited, but I make up for it with enthusiasm!
And..... *cue drum roll*
Molly!!!! These pictures were taken when we first got her in late August. She was only about 6 weeks old at the time. She's got so big already!! *sniff*
She is entirely without an ounce of common sense. Honestly. She may indeed be the most intelligent dog ever [don't argue with me on this one!], but she is honestly, HONESTLY, an absolute blonde... Constantly doing these big slapstick skids on the kitchen floor, with a really goofy expression on her face =]
i <3 Molly... =D
And here she was, on the day we got her! Sleeping adorably!!! On the hideous carpet in the conservatory, which does actually mask the presence of dog hairs remarkably well!
Anyway! Now that I've worked out how to put pictures on here, I'm going to be putting loads on!

That's enough for now though!
I will probably be back later, due to impending coursework deadlines, and my inability to concentrate on revolting topics for any length of time...

AWWH. =]
Also... aint that picture on the left [not me] soo cute? In case you can't make it out, it's a baby monkey with a nappy on, outside the ladies' loos which my brother took when they were in Peru somewhere =]
I <3 baby monkeys...
Is there a name for baby monkeys?
Like, monkeylets, or something?

Epic Fail.
Been obsessively trying to cover an entire 4 month module in a week, which, needless to say... IS NOT WORKING. I actually dreamt about chemistry calculations last night, which is a little worrying. I didn't even get them right in my dream, either... Pfft.
And I still can't find those pictures! Which irritates me somewhat.

Monday Morning Blues... Or should it be GREY??
Got up ridiculously early to do pharmacy coursework... And I got it finished! WOO!!!
So, I can kinda justify being on this so early in the day, yes? Unfortunately I need to go do chemistry so I'll just leave a 'To Do' List for next time...
1. I need to put some pics of m'darlin Mollydoddles up here, to add some cute-ness, which i clearly lack by myself...
2. US pictures! Panicking a lot becasue I can't find the CD i burned them onto! EEK!
3. ... Any pictures, really?
[Yes, i AM List Woman. I can't cope without lists! It's the only reason why I got an diary with a whole page for each day to write big lists on! Lol!]
Anyhoosies!
I will be back later... or tomorrow!
Maybe not the same time, but definitely the same place! Haha!

First Post - Woo!
I'm a late conversion to this bloggy mc blog blog thingy!
But fear not! I shall more than make up for my tardiness...
After all, I need something to help me avoid doing more useful things =]
Til then, adieu!
PS still need to work out how to navigate around and find other people! Lol!
